Nuntia – March 2025

There is one word that runs through the pages of this issue of NUNTIA like a golden thread: hope. Not a naive or abstract hope, but one born in the flesh of history, in the challenges of the mission, in the joy of serving ‘to the end’.

As we celebrate the 400th anniversary of our beloved Congregation, we look to St Vincent who still speaks to us and inspires us with the concrete power of his example. He also does so in new forms, as in the musical work dedicated to him, where the Gospel takes on voice, sound and rhythm to touch the hearts of every generation.

In these pages you will find stories of missionary life from Papua New Guinea to India, experiences of communion, formation and service lived with enthusiasm and sacrifice. You will also find faces, names, stories and new paths opened by the Spirit. All this testifies that our vocation is alive, and that the Vincentian charism continues to generate fraternity and prophecy in the world.

NUNTIA is not just a container, but a place of belonging. This is why we invite you not only to read, but to actively participate, sharing experiences, projects, reflections, news. Our strength lies in the network that unites us, in the passion that animates us, in the common desire to ‘evangelise the poor’.

Hope, said Charles Péguy, is ‘the smallest’ but it is also the one that ‘drags the other two’. So let us be carried along… and have a good journey together.
