In a time marked by confusion, uncertainty, and a loss of reference points, the message of hope found in the Book of Revelation and echoed in the apostolic exhortation Ecclesia in Europa becomes more urgent than ever. “Do not be afraid! I am the First and the Last, the Living One” (Rev 1:17–18): this is the joyful proclamation that Saint John Paul II entrusted to the Church of the new millennium, and which we are called to live and witness to today as the Congregation of the Mission. Today’s humanity—faced with family crises, a weakening of faith, declining vocations, and new forms of poverty—thirsts for authentic hope, rooted in the victory of the Risen Christ.
In this issue, we celebrate the Jubilee journey of the “Little Company” across five continents: from the pilgrimage to Aparecida in Brazil, rich in spiritual moments, symbols, and testimonies, to the canonical visitation in Mexico and the Sierra Norte de Puebla, to the profound experience of the missionary retreat in South India, which rekindled the transforming power of the Vincentian charism.
We also dedicate significant space to formation and spirituality: the Vincentian Symposium highlighted the urgent need to work together as a Vincentian Family, while the “formation of the heart” program reignited in participants a passion for effective and incarnate charity. In the cultural section, the Ozanam Festival and recent publications invite us to rediscover and share the richness of our Vincentian spiritual heritage.
We warmly invite all confreres and communities of the Congregation to actively contribute to Nuntia by sharing news, experiences, testimonies, and missionary initiatives. Through the living voice of our family, we can continue to weave communion, nurture hope, and respond—today as in the past—to the call to evangelize the poor.
