Paris, September 2025 – A new opportunity opens for the Vincentian Family: from September 14th to 30th, 2025, at the Motherhouse of the Lazarists in Paris (95, Rue de Sèvres), the First CIF Meeting for Vincentian Pilgrimage Guides will take place. This is a training program for lay people and consecrated men and women who wish to become qualified guides, able to accompany groups to the main Vincentian sites in Europe.
The project is born from a specific request of the Superior General, who invites all Vincentian branches to identify candidates willing to offer this precious service as volunteers. The guides will accompany one or two pilgrimages per year (without having to leave their regular work or ministry), receiving full board during activities and a small reimbursement, but not a salary.
The ideal profile sought is:
Responsibility and strong interpersonal skills
Passion for the Vincentian charism
Knowledge of languages (French is essential, others are an asset)
Residence in Europe (for organizational and travel cost reasons)
The program includes theoretical and practical training, visits to major Vincentian sites (Paris, Chartres, Berceau, Lourdes, Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne, Folleville, and more), meetings with witnesses of the charism, and group workshops. Accommodation, meals, and activities are fully covered by the organization; candidates are only required to pay for their travel to and from Paris.
The rich and detailed program, full of spiritual and cultural highlights, offers a unique opportunity for personal growth and service to the Vincentian Family in network with other international branches.
Each Vincentian branch is invited to nominate one or two candidates, completing the registration form and sending it within the deadline to andresmotto@gmail.com. After the selection process, participation will be confirmed for the suitable candidates.
Join us on the journey! Let us accompany, as trained guides, all those who wish to renew their faith following in the footsteps of St. Vincent.
