Can you imagine Saint Vincent de Paul holding a smartphone? Surely his charity would already be building networks all over the world!
Today, our mission calls us to go beyond physical boundaries to reach people where they spend much of their time. Today, the Internet and social media are no longer just technological tools—they have become the “new peripheries.” In these digital streets, there is also loneliness, doubts, and new forms of poverty waiting to be heard, accompanied, and embraced.
As the Vincentian Family, we have an exciting challenge: to reach the digital continent so that the message of Jesus may touch every heart searching for hope.
To discover together how to be true missionaries behind the screen, we invite you to our next major global online event on Digital Mission.
We will be joined by two exceptional guests: Fr. Tomaž Mavrič, CM, Superior General of the Congregation of the Mission, and the keynote speaker Mons. Lucio Ruiz, Secretary of the Dicastery for Communication of the Vatican, who will inspire us to bring our love into new media, transforming simple “connection” into a true relationship of charity.
The introduction will be given by Fr. Salvatore Farì, CM, Director of the Communication Office of the Congregation of the Mission.
