Evangelization

Our name – Congregation of the Mission – indicates our vocation: we are missionaries. Following the example of St. Vincent de Paul, we firmly believe that our mission is to continue the work of Jesus Christ, the Evangelizer of the poor. Aware that the Church is missionary by nature, we are committed to bringing the message of the Gospel to all, especially to those most in need.

Our Missions

International Missions:

Local communities established by the Superior General, composed of missionaries from different provinces, dedicated to serve in the peripheries and in the poorest places of the world.

Popular Missions:

Missionary activities aimed at reaching out to local communities, promoting spiritual growth and solidarity among peoples.

Parishes:

Presence and pastoral animation in parishes, contributing to their evangelization and to the spiritual life of the community.

Formation of the clergy:

We offer ongoing formation to priests to prepare them to face modern challenges and better respond to the spiritual needs of their communities.

Formation of the laity:

We are committed to the formation of the laity, so that they can become active witnesses of the Gospel in their daily lives.

Education:

We administer schools, colleges and universities in various countries around the world, with the aim of forming not only minds but also hearts, educating young people in the values of the Gospel and in solidarity with the most vulnerable.

Prison ministry:

We offer support and spiritual accompaniment to detainees, seeking to bring hope and redemption even in the darkest places.

Health ministry:

We are present in hospitals and health centers, offering comfort and support to the sick and those in difficulty.

Others:

We are open to new missionary initiatives, always guided by the Holy Spirit and the needs of the people.
