In this special year, we celebrate the 400th anniversary jubilee of the Congregation of the Mission with a unique Christmas video. Thanks toartificial intelligence, the words of St Vincent de Paul, taken from his original texts, come to life and invite us to reflect on our mission.
In the video, St Vincent reminds us: ‘Go and see the poor… and in them you will find God’ (SV, IX-1 024). These words invite us to follow Christ’s example with humility and generosity, especially in this time of grace in which we celebrate his birth.
‘May this Christmas renew in us the call to be living charity,’ the Superior General exhorts us, combining the message of Advent with the spirit of the Jubilee. As we contemplate Jesus in the manger, let us renew our commitment to serve those most in need with concrete love and hope.
